Slow-Cooker Oxtail Stew

Oxtail? We don't often get oxtail available to us but not to worry, you can use a beef chuck roast instead. The ingredients combined in this recipe cover sweet, savoury, spicy and acidic. An interesting flavour profile thats worth a try.

Cranberry Balsamic Meatballs

Cranberry Balsamic Meatballs are a delightful blend of sweet and tangy flavours that make them irresistible. The tartness of the cranberries perfectly complements the rich, savoury meatballs, while the sweetness of Olive the Best's Tangerine Dark Balsamic vinegar adds a depth of flavour with its subtle sweetness and acidity.

Apricot Balsamic Glazed Easter HamEaster Ham is a delightful centre piece that's perfect for serving large gatherings and offers the added bonus of delicious leftovers. Enhance your ham with a delectable glaze crafted from our Apricot White Balsamic Vinegar. For an extra burst of sweetness and joy, consider incorporating succulent fruit into your dish. Chipotle Pineapple Tri-Tip & Wild Mushroom & Sage FriesThe tri-tip is a lean cut that comes from the sub-primal bottom sirloin taken from a rear quarter. Tri-tip can come from beef, pork, or wild game but the most common tri-tip available is beef. Our neighbour "The Little Butcher" can provide a tasty piece that won't disappoint...
Roasted Rack of Lamb with Apricot Balsamic GlazeI love rack of lamb but it's definitely an occasion to have it. This is simply one of the best ways to prepare it using our Blushing Blenheim Apricot White Balsamic and Lemon Fused Olive Oil. It's also great on the BBQ!
Pork Chop with Huckleberry SauceHuckleberries aren't often seen in your common grocer although black huckleberries are common throughout B.C., especially in the Central Interior. They like to live in woodland areas with some shade, and often grow in large patches. If you've been lucky enough to taste them, you're always happy to enjoy them again. But if you can't find huckleberries, fresh or frozen blueberries will work in this recipes with pork chops. Also try the sauce with game meat - tasty! Make sure you have all the ingredients! This recipe uses "Olive the Best" Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil, Garlic Olive Oil, Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic, Elderberry Dark Balsamic and Barrel-Aged Red Wine Vinegar.
Rib-Eye Steak Marinade – Olive Wood Smoked, Espresso & MapleThis combination is an absolute must try! The espresso dark balsamic gives that coffee flavour that works so well with beef especially (but do try it on other meats and veggies). The maple dark balsamic provides that delicious maple sweetness. Add the olive wood smoked olive oil to the two balsamic vinegars to give some smokiness to the marinade and help coat the meat --- you'll never go back to processed massive produced sauces and marinades. Simply delicious -- without added sugars or other sweeteners, no caramel colouring --- no additives except real ingredients.
Chipotle Serrano Rib-EyeIf you love the taste of beef grilled with a little smokiness and some heat, this is one to definitely try. The white balsamic offers the combination of sweetness from honey (& the fermented grape must) and the spice of Serrano peppers. Combine with our chipotle olive oil and you have a dynamic flavour combo that will beg you to do each time you enjoy a steak.
Pulled Chicken SandwichesEveryone has had a version of pulled pork. Why not try this recipe using chicken? The flavours of the sweet, golden pineapple with the heat of the serrano honey balsamic and the baklouti chilli olive oil packs a *pow* flavour that is unforgettable. Try this at your next gathering.
