Cooking up apricots is fairly easy but let's ramp up the flavour using our Blushing Blenheim Apricot White Balsamic.... once you try it you won't ever want to go without.
1 ½ tbsp unsalted grass fed butter or coconut oil
5 apricots
3 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp Olive the Best Blushing Blenheim Apricot White Balsamic
½ tsp vanilla
⅛ tsp nutmeg
1
Heat sauté pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil and heat until melted.
2
In a medium mixing bowl, combine apricots with coconut sugar, balsamic vinegar, vanilla extract and nutmeg. Toss to combine.
3
Add apricot mixture to pan and cook until sauce thickens and apricots just slightly start to fall apart, about 8-10 minutes.
4
Serve warm or chilled.
You can serve over pork or poultry, in baking as well as a topping on yogurt or ice cream.
